Ten Minute Lesson Plan

Certification requires the successful presentation of a 10 minute lesson plan in accordance with the PQC/PRC guidelines.

Requirements:
  1. A Lesson Plan with Measurable Objectives:
Nothing soapy like "The student will appreciate / learn / understand how to do such-and-such".
The objective needs to be measurably, such as "The student will be able to handle the Blah-Blah-Blah motion in accordance with the RONR gray pages."
The objectives should be reflected in the participatory exercise below.
  2. At least a one page handout: Bring enough for all those attending the Sigma Rho Pi session. This does not mean a printed copy of your talk.
  3. Three Minute Talk: Explanatory introduction that takes the place of a lecture.
    (Note: no time for PowerPoint).
  4. Seven Minute Action: Drill, interactive discussion, or participatory exercise.
The drill should reflect the objectives mentioned above.
  5. Conclusion: Before the end of the 10th minute!
