Towards Certification and Recertification
Parliamentarians rush in like the cavalry. The result is impactful and successful if we are certified or if we recertify. Either way, everyone is affected.
Generic Requirements on Certification/Recertification:
- Pre-Course Test: Short answer questions prepared and submitted before the course.
- Parliamentarian: We do it at every unit meeting.
- Presiding Officer: We do it at every unit meeting.
- Ten Minute Lesson: We may not now be presenting lessons in the PQC/PRC way.
- Post-Course Test: Opinion Writing
What we need to practice at Sigma Rho Pi (beyond the level of the NAP units) is how to create a ten minute lesson. For our June 18, 2011 Sigma Rho Pi meeting let us practice this skill as an educational drill.
